Adriatic league side KK Zlatorog Lasko sign Aleskandar Gruev (187cm, Bulgaria, PG/SG). Zlatorog and Gruev agreed on one month contract with a chance to extend it till the end of the season. We wish Gruev all the best in Slovenia!

Aleksandar Gruev (187cm, Bulgaria, PG/SG) had to leave Iranian team Melli Haffari Ahvaz due to NBA lockout has ended. Gruev`s team had in their roster the only Iranian NBA player Hamed Haddadi (218cm, C) who got a call back to the States. Since there is only one import per team, Ahvaz decided that they will bring as import a player to fill the center spot and let Gruev go. His stats were 17.7ppg, 4apg and 4rpg.

Just after two weeks in Levski Sofia Aleksandar Gruev (187cm, Bulgaria, PG/SG) signed as a first Bulgarian player deal in Iran for Melli Haffari Ahvaz. Iranian team is known that they signed Iranian NBA star Hamed Haddadi till the end of NBA lockout. We wish Gruev a great season in Asia!

Experianced big guy from out American partner signed with Macedonian team MZT Skopje. Christopher Grimm (207cm, USA, C) brings experiance from Switzerland and France and will become the important guy in coach Todorov`s squad.

Gjorgje Jovanovic (209cm, Serbia, PF/C) replaced Dragomir Marojevic (207cm, Montenegro, PF/C) at Rilski Spotist. Marojevic then signed with other Balkan League participant in his homeland Ulcinj. Good luck to both of the players!

Levski Sofia signed Ronald Slay (203cm, USA, PF) and Aleksandar Gruev (187cm, Bulgaria, PG/SG). Slay (player from our American partner) came to Levski from Italian team Varese while Gruev from Rilski Sportist. Gruev has an option to go abroad without a buyout in case of a good offer.

Slovenian guard Davor Sattler (185cm, Slovenia, PG) signed with Danish club Horsens IC. Davor will be their starting pointguard. Davor last year played in Buglaria for Yambol where they reach the bronze medal.

Last year 3rd scorer of Cyprus league Dejan Dunovic (190cm, Slovenia, PG/SG) and 2nd rebounder of Macedonian league Kiril Pavlovski (210cm, Macedonia, C) sign 1 year deals with Bulgarian outfit Chernomorets Burgas. Both expected to be their leading players. Good luck to both of you from GSP!

Puertorican/American power forward Ramon Clemente (201cm, PR/USA, PF) sign one year deal with Mexican team Halcones Rojos de Veracruz. Ramon successfuly played in Israel and Puerto Rico last season.

Guard of the year in Sweden Johnell Smith (185cm, USA, PG/SG) renew his contract with Sodertalje Kings for one more year.

Serbian big guy Ilija Milutinovic (210cm, Serbia, PF/C) sign a contract with Balkan team Torus Skopje. Macedonian team has big plans for this season and Ilija is sure the guy to help them to achive their goals.

Croatian Ante Bilobrk sign one year deal with Bulgarian and Balkan league team Rilski Sportist. Ante has experiance from Adriatic league with KK Split and last year made a big success with KK Sinj (as newly promoted team in D1) as finished among top 8 teams in Croatia.

Romanian national team guard Andrei Mandache sign with Cypriot Eurochallenge team Keravnos. Andrei last year played in Eurochallenge with Romanian team Steaua Bucharest. Keravnos spoted Mandache during summer when he was playing on Cyprus with the national team. We wish Andrei and Keravnos all the best this season.

Brandon Cole (203cm, USA, PF/C) is back to Macedonia. Two years ago he was playing for Kubus Plejmejker Skopje (18.5ppg, 9.9rpg) and past season in Japan for Miyazaki (18.9ppg, 11.4rpg) he now coming back to Skopje and join Rabotnicki. Cole will for sure be one of the best American in the league.

After great season 2008/2009 when Rilski Sportist won 1st edition of Balkan league one of the main players was Branko Mirkovic (185cm, Serbia, PG). Branko sign 1 year deal and return to Rilski after two seasons playing for other teams such as Lukoil Akademik and Igokea Aleksandrovac. We wish Rilski and Branko a successful season.

Macedonian title chaser MZT Skopje sign two new players. One is Igor Mijajlovic (193cm, Serbia, PG) and the other is rookie from William & Mary University Marcus Kitts (205cm, USA, PF) from our american partner. Igor last year played in Slovenia for Hopsi Polzela and finish the season with 12.2ppg, 2.5rpg and as best in the league in assists with 4.7 per game. Marcus average 9.2ppg and 5.8rpg in NCAA1. Bulgarian player Simeon Naydenov (201cm, Bulgaria, SF) sign one year deal with French NM1 league team Clermontois. Last season Simeon played in Egypt where he won the cup with Al Ahly.

Dieng Bassirou (205cm, Senegal, PF/C) sign one year deal with Musel Pikes from Luxembourg. Dieng is coming from Senegal and moved to the States on college Georgia Tech. After college career he was playing in Lybia, Qatar and last year in Spain. We wish Bass a great season in Europe!

Balkan league team Torus Skopje sign two guards in last few days. One is their former player and Macedonian national team player Dimitar Karadzovski (190cm, Macedonia/Bulgaria, PG/SG) who last year played in Bulgarian team Rilski Sportist and American playmaker Bryan Harrison (188cm, USA, PG) who was playing in Lithuania for Mazeikiai. Wish both players lots of success in Macedonian championship and Balkan league.

Bulgarian Hristo Nikolov (200cm, Bulgaria, SF/PF) sign one year agreement with Hungarian team Szolnok. Szolnok was past season Hungarian champions and will play next season in FIBA EuroChallenge. Hristo has experianced that European competiton already last year with Steaua Bucharest and few years ago with CSKA Sofia. He also played in his career for Lukoil Akademik Sofia. We wish Hristo and Szolnok lots of luck in season 2011/12!
