Legendary center Rashard Griffith (212cm, USA, C) will play one more season for Romanian champions Asesoft. Rashard is the main man in the middle of Romanians that will once again have a strong team for European competition and for Romanian championship.

Former Polish national team forward Zbigniew Bialek (203cm, Poland, SF/PF) sign back to Poland after spending last season in Hungary. Bialek sign for PGB Basket Poznan.

After bad start in Spanish club Gandia last season, Portugal national team center Elvis Evora (205cm, Portugal, C) sign in the middle of the season for Benfica and won the championship of Portugal. Elvis resign a new contract and will soon starts preparing for final qualifications with his national team for the coming European Championship in Poland.

In Romania Asesoft is again a champion with easy 3:0 win against Timisoara. Asesoft won the 3rd game infront of home crowd with 80:66. Our players (or players brought with our assist from our partners) did again a great job: Darius Hargrove (194cm, USA, SG/SF) finished with 16 points and 5 rebounds, Rashard Griffith (212cm, USA, C) with 13 points and 6 rebounds, Mike Jones (197cm, USA, SG/SF) with 7 points, Dwayne Curtis (202cm, USA, C) 6 points and 4 rebounds and Arvydas Cepulis (196cm, Lithuania, SG) with 5 points. Congrats on winning the duble (championship and cup) to all the players and team staff.

HKK Siroki Brijeg will play in the final of Bosnia and secure a spot in Adriatic league for season 2009/10. Siroki beat Igokea Partizan with 2:1 and move to the final where they will meet with KK Bosna Sarajevo. For Siroki Chester Mason (194cm, USA, PG) is playing great and is always near triple-duble. Chester, who is player of our american partner, had in last game 15 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Chester is a modern Euroleage type of PG with great size. Congrats to Siroki and Chet!

Larry Ayuso (190cm, Puerto Rico/USA, SG/PG) is playing great in Puertorican league and is fully motivated to move back to some top level teams in Europe next season...Larry and his team Santruce are on top of the table and Ayuso averaging over 21 points per game with 36% from 3 point line. Good luck Larry!!

Young Dardan Berisha (192cm, Poland/Croatia/Kosovo, PG/SG) won Polish 2nd division with Polonia 2011 and help his team move to top division in Poland. Dardan was best scorer of his team and is also a leading player in Polish U20 national team. Congrats to Dardan and Polonia 2011 as well.

Big time talent Dragoslav Papic (205cm, Serbia, SF/PF) is back after small illnes and help his team Rilski to move to semifinals of Bulgarian championship where they will meet with long time champion LukOil Sofia. Papic had in 1/4 final two strong games with 21 points and 15 rebounds on first and 21 points and 13 rebounds of secound game against Spartak.

Svendborg and our client Ivan Hoger (225cm, Czech rep., C) didn`t make it to win a championship this year even they were close then ever...in the 7th game at Bakken Bears the lost by 10 in last minutes and Ivan was among best players on court with 11 points and 21 rebounds!! Congrats for great season to Ivo and his team!

After Bakken lead already 3:1 Svendborg return and there will be 7th and last game of the final of Danish championship. Giant Ivan Hoger (225cm, Czech rep., C) is playing very good and showing why is he the best center in the league. Svendborg is a newly created team in Danish basketball with big ambitions and since Ivo join then they are always near to win championship and we hope this year they will have that luck to win it. GOO SVENDBORG! GOO IVO!!

Ivan Djerman (202cm, Croatia, SF/PF) continue with his great performances in Spain. His team Mazarron last weekend lost to Mallorca after 2 overtimes but Ivan finished with 28 points, 9 rebounds and 3 steals with index of 30. This weekend they won and antoher great performance from Ivan with 23 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 blocks and index of 36...we wish Ivan lost of good games in the future too.

Jamon Lucas Gordon (190cm, USA, PG/SG) is playing great in Croatian team KK Split. Gordon finished Adriatic league with 19.3 ppg, 3.1 apg and 2.9 spg. After Adriatic league Split is now playing in championship group of Croatian championship and have great chance to move to semifinals. After 6 games Jamon is averaging 13.7 ppg, 4 rpg, 6 apg and 3.2 spg.

Chester Mason (192cm, USA, PG) is proving to be one of the best PG in Bosnia so far. Chester is all the time near triple duble and HKK Siroki Brijeg is playing very good in championship group of Bosnia with only one loss. Yesterday they beat one of the main candidates for title Igokea Partizan and Chester had 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.

Another great game by Ivan Djerman (202cm, Croatia, SF/PF) for Mazzaron against Santa Pola. Djerman played 39 minutes and scored 20 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. His team reached playoff and they have high confident to promote to higher league.

Ivan Hoger (225cm, Czech rep., C) and his Svendborg Rabbits move to the finals of Denmark where they will meet with Bakken Bears. The same two teams were also last year in the final which Bakken won it but Svendborg have this year other plans. We wish Ivan and his team lots of luck in future games in the finals.

Ivan Djerman (202cm, Croatia, SF/PF) is performing very well for his Spanish side Mazarron and they won 9 of last 10 games and almost secure a playoff. Last two games they first beat at home Basquet Paterna with 100:87 with Ivan`s 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals and in last game when they beat on the road Arroz Almassera 65:86 his numbers were 18 points and 5 rebound.

The 1st edition of Balkan league (BIBL) has ended and the winner of Final Four was Rilski Sportist (they got wildcard as Greek teams decidet not to participat). Global Sports Plaza proudly present all their clients that become heroes of Bulgarian fans. Rilski beat in the final Macedonian team Rabotnicki Skopje with 84:77. MVP of the Final Four was the same as after regular season announced Travis Peterson (210cm, USA, 4/5) from our american partner. Travis scored in the final 18 points and grab 12 rebounds. In Rilski also other GSP clients show their great talent like 22 years old Dragoslav Papic (205cm, Serbia, SF/PF) with 19 points and 5 rebounds and great playmaker Branko Mirkovic (185cm, Serbia, PG) finished with 14 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. Another GSP client takes lots of credit in this success and that is a head coach of Rilski Aleksandar Todorov (Macedonia) who take this team before the season and make them a champion of BIBL. On the other side Rabotnicki played very well too and 22 years old Nenad Zivcevic (202cm, Serbia/Macedonia, SG/SF) came from bench and nailed 10 points. Aleksandar Paunovic (205cm, Serbia, PF/C) finished his 2nd season in Norway at Fjellhamar BBK as 2nd best scorer of the league. In 21 matches he average 23.2 points per game. Aco still has available Schengen visa to enter EU and if any team looking for big guy till the end of the season feel free to contact us.

Luka Marolt (202cm, Slovenia, SF/PF) finished his season in Sweden for his Jamtland Basket in playoffs against Norrkoping with 1:3 in series. Luka averaged in the season 12.7 points per game. Luka would also consider a move to any team in case they need him for play off so feel free to contact us.

American point guard Chester Mason (192cm, USA, PG), from our american partner, sign for Bosnian team HKK Siroki Brijeg. Chester played so far this season in NBA D-league averaging around 11 points per game. Last year successfuly played in Slovenian team KK Zlatorog Lasko.

Ivan Djerman (202cm, Croatia, SF/PF) was MVP of the game in Spanish EBA against Pamesa Valencia II. Djerman scored for his Mazarron 27 points and added also 4 rebounds and 3 steals.

Another big game for Kiril Pavlovski (210cm, Macedonia, C) againts Pitesti in the Romanian championship where he dominated the boards for his Dinamo Bucurest with team high 11 rebounds, 13 points and 3 blocks.

Carlos Morban (187cm, Dominica rep., PG/SG) made a record in 3 pointers in Kosovo by scoring 13 of 15  in last game against Drita while scoring 51 points for Peja. Congrats!

Great start in Romania for Aleksandar Kostoski (188, Macedonia, PG) for his team Brasov in the Romanian Championshiop where in 18 minutes had 8 points and 5 assists. Also in Romania Kiril Pavlovski (211, Macedonia, C) had great game for his Dinamo with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocks.
